Complete a Peer Supervision Application
Submit a letter of recommendation from PRPS
Submit an additional professional letter of recommendation
Application reviewed (approved/denied/pending) by DHS Recovery Unit
Applicant scheduled for supervisor training (UALR MidSOUTH)
Credential Requirements
40 educational hours (Supervisor Training = 24 hours) 16 hours needed after Supervisor Training (9.5 hours Peer Recovery Support Series; 6.5 hours Peer Ethics)
500 experience hours: 250 hours of supervised work experience and 250 hours of providing supervision. 50 of those hours must take place under the supervision of a more experienced supervisor.
